With Kick crossing the magical Rs.100-crore mark, Salman Khan has once again emerged as Bollywood's most bankable star, giving seven hits in a row over the past five years. Kick, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, was Salman's Eid gift to his fans and had the advantage of being a solo release last week across as many as 4,900 screens. While the film soon crossed the Rs.100-crore mark, it looks far from emerging as Bollywood's biggest hot of all times.

Watching movies has always been a favorite time pass to me specially in theaters that have surround sound system and big screens providing quality pictures. High end cinematic experience was not possible in Nepal until the QFX chain of movie halls arrived in Nepal. We were bound to see movies in the same old system that most of the cinema halls used. Only few movie halls like Jai Nepal (kathmandu) and Barahi Movies (Bhaktapur) provided the quality entertainment and service. QFX Civil Mall: This hall is one of the best halls of Nepal in terms of comfort, quality and luxury located at Sundhara, kathmandu nepal on the 6th floor of the Civil Mall - a shopping mall. Other recreational activities can also be  done at civil mall such as playing PUTT PUTT mini golf and making our children enjoy at children recreational center.

Other good cinema Halls of Kathmandu include Big Movies located at City Center kamalpokhari and Fcube Cinemas at KL Tower, Chabahil. Fcube Cinemas is the latest cinema hall addition in kathmandu nepal which offers quality seats with international standard movie experience. But the major disadvantage of this hall is that it is located relatively bit far from central Kathmandu compared to other cinema halls.

Besides these cinema halls other cinema halls mostly showing nepali and hindi movies include Gopi Krishna Movies - Chabahil, Guna Cinemas - Gwarko, Asta Narayan - Balaju, Barahi Movies - Baktapur, Bishwojyoti Hall (Jamal) etc.
